Why tooling is the whole game
A molded patch can only be as good as the die it was pressed against. Most suppliers outsource tooling, which is why detail drifts between orders. We engrave our own dies, so relief depth, edge definition and text legibility are controlled decisions rather than whatever a subcontractor delivered.
How a die is made
Approved artwork is converted to a machining path, depths and reliefs are assigned per element, and the die is CNC engraved, hand-finished and test-pressed before it is released to production.

Tooling ownership
Tooling is paid for before machining begins, and once paid the die belongs to you. It is stored and reserved for your brand, and repeat orders run without any further tooling charge.
